Saturday Snapshot - October 5

To participate in Saturday Snapshot: post a photo that you (or a friend or family member) have taken then leave a direct link to your post in the Mister Linky below. Photos can be old or new, and be of any subject as long as they are clean and appropriate for all eyes to see. How much detail you give in the caption is entirely up to you. Please don’t post random photos that you find online.

This week was one of those weeks where I was busy all the time, but didn't really do much.  My life consisted mostly of errands and other dull things.  As a result, I didn't take many pictures.  In fact, the only one of note is this one...

Last weekend, we were hit with an unusually strong storm.  Rain and wind is certainly not uncommon to Oregon, but this was something else.  I read that it our storm was a remnant of a typhoon from Asia--which was not surprising given the strength of the storm.  I tried to take pictures, but this is really the only one that halfway turned out.  It's looking out from my kitchen window.

  2. Rainy day photos can be fun though it is hard sometimes to get a clear picture. :-)

  3. We've had a few wild and windy days this Springtime in Sydney...but the rain would have welcome. Everything looks so green and lush outside your window!

  4. We have a lot of days like that during hurricane season. It can be pretty scary at times.

BTW: My photo doesn't have anything to do with Dad Is Fat. I forgot that it was still in the linky from where I posted it earlier.

  5. Ah ... Fall rains! These storms make me want to lower the lights and light a fire in the fireplace! A prelude to winter hibernation...
