We are busy with Thanksgiving prep here, but here are some random instagrams from this week....
Did you hear that "Selfie" is the word of the year? Here I am to celebrate! |
I love this mug! |
My attempt at creating some Thanksgiving decor. It turned out pretty well--and was incredibly easy--except my son keeps wanting to dump out all the popcorn.... |
We've had some gorgeous, but COLD, weather here! |
Christmas is coming! My daughter is waiting for Santa to come feed the reindeer at reindeercam.com! We'll probably be doing this at least once a day until Christmas! |
When I first heard the expression "selfie," I had to Google it! LOL
ReplyDeleteLove how you're getting ready for Thanksgiving. My favorite holiday....
I'm so envious of your gorgeous autumn colours (although not of the cold that goes with it!!)
ReplyDeleteWe don't have a lovely harvest style tradition for our autumn as Easter always falls in the middle of instead!
Great shots, Melinda, especially the coffee cup. Love the popcorn lights, how clever! Happy Thanksgiving!

ReplyDeleteI like your selfies! We've still got some autumn leaves left on the trees too - but not many.
ReplyDeleteI loved your selfies! And love that mug!!
ReplyDeleteLove your Uff da! mug. My momma said "uff da" a lot!. I was raised in So Dakota, with Norwegian roots. Enjoy your Thanksgiving and Christmas prep. Children grow up so fast and then the prep isn't nearly so much fun.
ReplyDeleteMinnesota has taken a turn to the cold here as well. Love the pics of your thanksgiving prep. My prep will probably start Thursday morning :) Ok.. maybe Wednesday.
ReplyDeleteCute Thanksgiving centerpieces :)
ReplyDeleteTerrific celebration of the word of the year! Those popcorn candle holders are fun and festive!

Selfie is the word of the year, and it turns out it was an Australian invention. Not sure how much coverage that got overseas, the young man who first used it was interviewed on the news here during the week. He took a selfie (just his lower face) showing a fat lip after he fell over drunk at a party- actually rather fitting to be an Aussie invention.
ReplyDeleteI'd never heard of uff da before, so I had to google it. How wonderful. I can see why you love that mug. It's perfect.
