Saturday Snapshot - February 22

To participate in Saturday Snapshot: post a photo that you (or a friend or family member) have taken then leave a direct link to your post in the Mister Linky below. Photos can be old or new, and be of any subject as long as they are clean and appropriate for all eyes to see. How much detail you give in the caption is entirely up to you. Please don’t post random photos that you find online.

Last week, we finished up the Norwegian leg of our trip.  From Oslo, we took the booze cruise ferry to Copenhagen, where we caught a train to Hamburg.  We ended up only spending one night in Hamburg before heading east to Lutherstadt Wittenburg.  Being good Lutherans, this was a must-see stop for us.

Many of the towns in Eastern Germany are still rather Communist looking, but Lutherstadt Wittenburg is an exception.  It was just darling.

Me and the rain.

The famous doors where Martin Luther nailed his 95 Theses.  Obviously, these aren't the actual doors--those have long since fallen victim to history.  These are iron doors with the 95 Theses printed right on them.
