March 2014 Monthly Wrap Up

This has been a bit of a weird month for me.  I feel like I haven't been able to spend as much time reading as I would like, yet I finished more books than usual this month.  I think, just in general, March is kind of a hard month for me, so maybe it is just the general malaise thing going on.  Anyway...

In March, I read:
Raising Boys by Steve Biddulph
The Ogallala Road by Julene Bair
The Boleyn Bride by Brandy Purdy
The Unlikely Disciple by Kevin Roose
Providence by Lisa Colozza Cocca
One Thousand Porches by Julie Dewey (review to be posted 4/21)
Mom Seeks God by Julia Roller (review to be posted 4/1)
Empress of the Night by Eva Stachniak
Farmer Boy by Laura Ingalls Wilder (no review)
The Mark of Dragonfly by Jaleigh Johnson

Right now, I'm reading:
Ramona the Pest by Beverly Cleary (I'm reading this to my daughter and will not be reviewing it)
Michael by Jill Eileen Smith (for my church's book group; review to be posted 4/15)
Hidden by Catherine McKenzie (review to be posted 4/7)

In Other News....

  • I missed out on Bloggiesta...AGAIN!  This time it was because it turned out we had houseguests that weekend and I would not have had the time I needed to work on my blog.  Maybe next time....
  • I have a lot of reviews coming up...and a lot of books to read!  I went a little crazy on Netgalley and, well, my dance card is pretty full right now.  I'm also waiting for about 5 books to arrive in the mail for book tours.  Needless to say, I need to carve out some more reading time!
  • My Saturday Snapshot series of our 2007 honeymoon will wrap up at the end of April and I'm thinking I'll probably end up posting Instagramsafter that.  This summer, however, we're planning on going on the Great American Road Trip (with THREE Laura Ingalls Wilder stops!) so the SS posts will be hopping then.  In the meantime, expect some randomness....
