Saturday Snapshot - March 29

To participate in Saturday Snapshot: post a photo that you (or a friend or family member) have taken then leave a direct link to your post in the Mister Linky below. Photos can be old or new, and be of any subject as long as they are clean and appropriate for all eyes to see. How much detail you give in the caption is entirely up to you. Please don’t post random photos that you find online.

Welcome back to our honeymoon recap!  This week's pics are from the really, really old stuff in Rome.  My husband and I both enjoy history, so we were eating this up!

At the Colosseum.  Honestly, this is a place you only need to visit once and it was my 2nd time here.  However, my husband had never been, so it was great for him.

At the Roman Forum...this is the site of Julius Caesar's funeral pyre.  People still leave flowers.  Go figure.

This is another building at the Forum and, I'll be honest, I have no clue what it is.  We've long since given away our Rick Steves Guidebook.....

This is the senate and the original floor....very cool!
