April 2014 Monthly Wrap Up

April ended up being a busy month for me, blog wise.  I ran my Book Club series for one week, for which I received some great feedback.  I'm also working through all my nertgalley books (I'm not letting myself get anything more from them for quite a while!).

In April, I read:
Hidden by Catherine McKenzie
Ramona the Pest by Beverly Cleary (no review)
Sinners and the Sea by Rebecca Kanner
Michal by Jill Eileen Smith (no review)
Ramona the Brave by Beverly Cleary (no review)
The Collector of Dying Breaths by M. J. Rose
For Such a Time by Kate Breslin
West of the Moon by Margi Preus
The Here and Now by Ann Brashares
The Spymistress by Jennifer Chiaverini (Review to be posted 5/8)

Right now, I'm reading:
Little House on the Prairie by Laura Ingalls Wilder (reading with my daughter, no review)
All the Light We Cannot See by Anthony Doerr (review to be posted 5/6)
The Pearl That Broke Its Shell by Nadia Hashimi (review to be posted 5/15)
The End of Overeating by David A. Kessler (I'm reading this in very small bits, so it will be a while before I finish).

In other news....

  • For my fellow Saturday Snapshot folks, I finally finished all the posts about our honeymoon!  The next two weeks will have some random posts and then I'll have a few weeks of pictures from our Arizona vacation coming up.
  • I took some time this week to put together an actual TBR list--two of them, actually--one for hardcopy books and one for kindle books.  And, um, well, let's just say my reading is planned out for quite a while now....sigh!
