To participate in Saturday Snapshot: post a photo that you (or a friend or family member) have taken then leave a direct link to your post in the Mister Linky below. Photos can be old or new, and be of any subject as long as they are clean and appropriate for all eyes to see. How much detail you give in the caption is entirely up to you. Please don’t post random photos that you find online.
I was hoping to share pictures of our newly-painted house today, but the project is still in process. Instead, here is a gem that pretty much sums up our week:
This is my 6 year old daughter working on her novel. It is exactly the novel one would expect from a 6 year old who likes Halloween, werewolves, scooby doo, and Marvel characters and she is very, very excited about it (in the picture, she's SUPPOSED to be eating her dinner, but creativity waits for no taco!)
She started writing this book early in the week and, at about the same time, she started having nightmares, which is unusual for her. We tried to figure out what was triggering them--something she saw on TV? Something at school?--and then we figured it out...she's scaring herself with her book! Apparently, I'm raising the next Stephen King!
