Saturday Snapshot - January 9

To participate in Saturday Snapshot: post a photo that you (or a friend or family member) have taken then leave a direct link to your post in the Mister Linky below. Photos can be old or new, and be of any subject as long as they are clean and appropriate for all eyes to see. How much detail you give in the caption is entirely up to you. Please don’t post random photos that you find online.

Last Sunday--the last day of our Christmas break--we finally got our White Christmas.  It wasn't a huge downfall, but enough to get the kids excited.  Here are a few pics of the day.

This was an early morning pic...ambience supplied by the Clarendon filter

When you live in a floodplain, this is how you go sledding

This is the large oak tree in the little park in our neighborhood and this picture is my attempt at being "artistic"

Sunday was also notable for another, albeit not quite so fun, reason....I finally caved and admitted it was time for reading glasses.  Sigh!
