Saturday Snapshot - February 13

To participate in Saturday Snapshot: post a photo that you (or a friend or family member) have taken then leave a direct link to your post in the Mister Linky below. Photos can be old or new, and be of any subject as long as they are clean and appropriate for all eyes to see. How much detail you give in the caption is entirely up to you. Please don’t post random photos that you find online.

We recently had a fantastic opportunity to visit OMSI (Oregon Museum of Science and Industry) as a family.  My daughter is a Daisy Girl Scout and I found out that our Council was doing an evening "takeover" of the Museum.  Unfortunately, I found out about it 2 days before the event, so we didn't have time to organize a troop trip.  However, when I told my husband about it, he thought we should jump on it--twice we've taken the kids to OMSI, only to have leave before even getting through the door thanks to the crowd.

It was significantly less crowded for this event, which was nice.  We had 2 hours in the museum PLUS pizza and (of course!) Girl Scout Cookies.  What a deal!

A quick night time view of PDX (with ghostly glowing eyes girl, of course!)

We need one of these for our house!  It would tire the kids out AND cut down our electric bills!
My husband loves it when he can be instructional.  He really should have been a teacher!

This kept my son busy for, well, 10 minutes.

The kids loved the thunder eggs!

My daughter is braver than I am.  No way would I touch that completely harmless bug!

All geared up to do some experiments!
