2. At least 2 dedicated workouts
I got one in...on Tuesday. I did an old dance workout. And then I couldn't move on Wednesday! Apparently I'm too old to get that jiggy...or at least my let hip is! (And, no...I'm not THAT old!)
3. Complete the #FitReaders Virtual 5K at some point this month
I'm planning to do this on my vacation, so stay tuned!
Right Now, I'm reading:
This is a short book...but I think it is going to take me a while to get through. I'm hoping to have it done before I leave town (because I'm trying not to take any books--only my Kindle), but the subject matter is really tough. So, we'll see. I'm pretty sure I'll be reading a slew of romances and Young Adult after this one....
So, I'm not sure how this one is going to work out for me. I've never had good luck with Chevalier's books, but this was sort of a "freebie" from Penguin's First to Read program. And it's a frontier story--and I love frontier stories--and it has Johnny Appleseed in it--and my kids have this weird obsession with Johnny Appleseed. Since it is through the First to Read program, I have to read it on my Galaxy tablet, which doesn't have the greatest battery power, so it may take me a while just because of that.
I actually didn't mean to start this book yet. It's my last netgalley book for the year and it isn't published until next month. However, I had a battery issue with my Galaxy tablet, so I pulled this up on my Kindle instead. I'm only a few pages in, but it seems delightful so far!
I'm still plugging away at this one...but I'm positive it won't be done in time for my book club meeting. Oh well!
I didn't get much listening time this week, so I'm still in the same place for both Alexander Hamilton and The Girl on the Train, but that will probably change next week--at least for The Girl on the Train.
Last week, I read:
I read this in 3 days, which is unheard of me lately! But, totally worth it.
This took me more than 3 days to read. 'Nuff said for the moment.
