Saturday Snapshot - March 12

To participate in Saturday Snapshot: post a photo that you (or a friend or family member) have taken then leave a direct link to your post in the Mister Linky below. Photos can be old or new, and be of any subject as long as they are clean and appropriate for all eyes to see. How much detail you give in the caption is entirely up to you. Please don’t post random photos that you find online.

Last weekend, we headed up to see my in-laws in Poulsbo, Washington (across the bay from Seattle).  It was a bittersweet trip, but we were still able to fit some fun in.  My husband's cousin and her young son, who we had yet to meet, were visiting at the same time so we were able to spend time with them and my kids LOVED playing with their younger cousin.

Today, I'm sharing two great views we had driving around.  Poulsbo is on the Kitsap Peninsula, from which you can see both the Cascades to the east and the Olympics to the west.  Luckily, I got a shot of each.  The pictures were taken from the car, so Instagram can only do so much with them, but there you go.

Off in the distance...the Olympic Mountain Range

Across the bay..the Cascade Mountain Range

It was supposed to rain all weekend, so we really lucked out with the weather (except when we were driving there and then home again....then we got all the rain!
