This week has been, well, it has been. Nothing really notable happened, but I still just feel like we were busy (although I couldn't tell you what we got done...) This was our "off" week between my daughter's day camps, so we just sort of tried to get things done. We did head out to a Portland Thorns game (Women's MLS) on Saturday night with some of the families from my daughter's Girl Scout troop--and it was both fun and a bit of a disaster, but such is life!
Anyway, onto the updates:
This week was not as active as I would have liked. I discuss this more in my update vlog, so feel free to check that out.
1 - At least 77,000 steps a week
Sunday, 7/24 - 7211 steps (3.24 miles)
Monday, 7/25 - 6204 steps (2.79 miles)
Tuesday, 7/26 - 6155 steps (2.77 miles)
Wednesday, 7/27 - 6703 steps (3.01 miles)
Thursday, 7/28 - 10,059 steps (4.52 miles)
Friday, 7/29 - 7185 steps (3.23 miles)
Saturday, 7.30 - 15,350 steps (6.9 miles)
TOTAL: 58,867 steps (26.46 miles)
So, yeah...not so great.
2 - 2 strength training workouts a week
3 - At least 96 ounces of water a day
I seemed to tap out at 72 every day...which is not bad, but not up to my goal.
And, of course it is time for August Goals. Since I seem to still be struggling with these, I'm just going to continue them into August.
Right Now, I'm Reading:
Yeah, I know the cover here says The Girls in the Garden, but my ARC arrived with a note that the title had changed. Now, I did say that I was going to read The Language of Flowers next, and so many of you commented that you had loved that book. But, this one showed up and I'm scheduled to review it in a few weeks, so it bumped itself up to the top of the queue. The Language of Flowers is currently #2 in the queue, because there is no way I'll be putting off Harry Potter and Cursed Child--once it finally arrives (side-eye at Amazon....)
I've really just started this one, so I'm not far enough into it to have any real opinions on it yet. However, it is very much in line (or at least it seems at this point) with Moriarty's other books, so if you liked those, you'll probably enjoy this one.
Honestly, I didn't get a chance to make too much headway in this one this week--and, with my other books, I'm not sure I will this coming week, either--but it is still there. Next to the toilet.
About Last Week:
So, I said in my last post that I was going to just read some short stories until Truly Madly Guilty arrived on my kindle AND we got home from visiting my father-in-law. Well, I most certainly did that! I am actually planning a post on them all so, instead of updating it here, I'll do it all in that post, which I'm hoping to have up on 8/23.
