I think my Friday nights of trying to scrounge up some pictures for Saturday Snapshot are on hold for a while! We're heading into the most festive--and picture inducing--time of the year! I'm about ready to load up 3 weeks of posts, and Halloween is still yet to come, so hold onto your hats!
The big thing this week in our house is that we finally got a membership to OMSI (Oregon Museum of Science and Industry). We went last year with the kids for a Girl Scout event and they LOVED it! Recently, Groupon was offering a deal on memberships, so I scooped that up. Of course, when we went to redeem it, they talked us up a couple of levels! But, in the end, it was no big deal because between the money I saved on the Groupon and the fact that we went TWICE this week (the second time with 2 guests!), we've already passed the break even point and we still have a year to go! Since the kids go to a private school, there are a few days each year when they are out of school but the public schools are in session (like all of this week!), which makes OMSI a great way to spend a day off.
The pictures here are the first half of pictures from our first trip. I'll post the rest of the pictures from that day in 2 weeks (because I absolutely must post Halloween pictures next week).
