It's Monday, What Are You Reading? - November 21, 2016

Ugh...I try to write up these posts on Sundays (and then schedule them to go live at 9pm my time on Sundays) but the internet was not cooperating with me last night.  Well, I think the internet was fine, but our router does not like me.  Sigh....  this is the battle of my life.  We did just get a repeater, hoping that will improve things, but it is still sitting in the box (side eye to the hubs, there...).  Personally, I think we need a new router, but I'm willing to give the repeater a try first.

So, it is almost Thanksgiving!  I'm doing all the cooking--so expect food pics for the next Saturday Snapshot post.  We're having a small gathering, so I'm trying to scale back just a bit.  I guess we'll have to see what kind of uproar bubbles up when my father-in-law and brother-in-law realize there will be no mashed potatoes (the hubs already signed off on it and my kids are weird...neither of them like potatoes!).  Personally, I love mashed potatoes--but I like my dressing better and, since I only make my dressing once a year, I'm willing to sacrifice the potatoes.  Besides, I assured my husband that, if he really wants them, I'll make the potatoes on Friday so he can eat them with his leftovers.

Oh, and a little heads-up.  I have 2 reviews this week and then on more scheduled next Tuesday.  Those will be the last formal book reviews for the year on this blog.  As usual, I'm taking December off from posting reviews, although I will continue to participate in this meme and hosting the Saturday Snapshot.  I also have a couple non-review posts that I've been meaning to write that might show up during December.  This doesn't mean I won't be reading--I'm just pushing my reviews over to 2017 so I can build up a bit of a buffer for myself and not feel quite the need to read to produce reviews.

And now....

It's Monday....What Are You Reading? is hosted by Kathryn at Book Date.  Please visit her blog to link up and join in the fun!

I'm hoping for some quality reading time while the turkey cooks on Thursday, so we'll see how it goes!
