Saturday Snapshot - December 10

To participate in Saturday Snapshot: post a photo that you (or a friend or family member) have taken then leave a direct link to your post in the Mister Linky below. Photos can be old or new, and be of any subject as long as they are clean and appropriate for all eyes to see. How much detail you give in the caption is entirely up to you. Please don’t post random photos that you find online.

On my last Monday post, I mentioned that we were forecasted for a storm the coming Thursday.  Well, it came--although "storm" is probably too strong of a word.  We did get snow--which led to school being canceled on Thursday.  Then it iced up--which led to school being canceled on Friday.  Right now, I'm really wishing the kids had school on Saturday!

In any case, there wasn't that much snow, but the kiddos were still excited.

The kids put the ornaments on the tree while we waited for the snow.  This was a real test for my inner control freak.

The first flakes are spotted!

Trying to catch snowflakes

Apparently there was enough snow to warrant my son putting on his pants

Now it is starting to look like winter!
