For those of you who do not live in the United States, you may not know what is happening here right now. Let's just say it is scary--and something that our country has never dealt with before. I won't go into everything, but one thing that happened is that the Gropenfuhrer (I'll let you figure out who that is) has silenced all the scientific agencies. This is terrifying for many reasons, but then the weirdest thing happened. The National Park Service went rogue. Of course, it was also quickly silenced, but then employees of the National Park Service went rogue in their free time and it is a pretty amazing (and hopeful) thing to see. You can read more about it at the Alt National Parks Facebook page. They've also taken to Twitter and pretty much every other scientific agency has followed suit--which, again, is a good thing, There are more than a few memes out there now along the lines of "None of the Dystopian novels I've read prepared me for the Park Rangers leading the Resistance, but that's cool."
So, in my own little protest, I've been posting pictures from our visits to National Parks on my personal FB page. I only post a few pictures a day because, well, I'll need to circle back and post pictures from each visit multiple times (we're going back to Saguaro National Park next month, but then it will be a while before we can go to any other parks).
In keeping with that same idea, here is one picture from each of our visits to various parks. There are more parks and visits, but for some reason, I can only get these pictures onto my computer. I've posted some of these already, but it's always fun to revisit.

Also to note; The Badlands is the most rogue of all the rogue National Parks!
I really don't know what else to say beyond the fact that I never thought I'd see what is happening now ever happen in the US.
