Saturday Snapshot - December 30

To participate in Saturday Snapshot: post a photo that you (or a friend or family member) have taken then leave a direct link to your post in the Mister Linky below. Photos can be old or new, and be of any subject as long as they are clean and appropriate for all eyes to see. How much detail you give in the caption is entirely up to you. Please don’t post random photos that you find online.

Well folks, we have survived 2017--almost.  I mean, who knows what could happen in the next 2 days, but we're still here right now!

I'm going to close out this year (and then start next year with my next Saturday Snapshot post) with some pictures from our Christmas.   Enjoy!

In our town, they put up an ice skating rink every year.  This was the first year I took my kids--they actually went twice.  The first time, I took them with  my daughter's Girl Scout troop.  The second time, the one pictured above, my father-in-law took them.  Do you see how my daughter is skating around in short sleeves?  It was about 35 degrees....sigh!

My father-in-law also brought down some gingerbread house kits for the kids to do. My son looks like he is working diligently at it, but the truth is that he actually ate most of the decorations before they ever got on the houses.

On Christmas Eve morning, my daughter was part of a Christmas pageant at another church (one her friend attends) afterwards, there was a reception where my daughter tried to eat ALL THE SUGAR!  Don't worry...she didn't eat everything there.  There were some carrots at the bottom that she left...

Most Christmas pics to come next week!  Happy New Year!
